The Dynamic Currency Conversion application included in Skyzer’s payment solution is known as Currency Select Eftpos or CSE, and is designed for merchants that are primarily in the tourism industry and processing a reasonable volume of international credit cards.
This application enables merchants to offer their international cardholders the ability to pay in up to 12 different currencies. The currency that is offered will be determined based on the Issuer Code on the card if the transaction is a chip card transaction, or provide the cardholder with the option to select their preferred currency in the case of a magnetic stripe transaction.
Please note, to utilise this service the merchant must have an acquiring relationship with the Bank of New Zealand.
